![]() Seems to be worse when you head back home and its the last thing you want to deal with is missing a flight so they will use the scare tactic to really get ppl to fork over their money by making up problems with carryons. I was disgusted by the fact how the airline treated their own ppl thinking they can milk all the innocent ppl on a daily. I didn't realized till someone explained it to me. Girlfriend made a big scene so they let us go through to hcm with the minimal fee of 20 dollars (usd). Little to late they said and asked for more money. My father already went through along with his luggage but his girlfriend tried to let the security ppl know.here's that fee they were looking for. Long story short after interpretation the security told discretely it contained illegal substance (cocaine). I never did on arrival and the luggage I was carrying was my fathers luggage that contained nothing to be concerned with as it did pass through US security and taipei where we had layover. First time going to Nam I was told to slip money in with passports by airline sales person back in Seattle. Bribery is still a thing I've seen it countless times throughout my travels in 2013-recent. I'm vietnamese but born in the US always being confused with being "viet kieu" (vietnamese born traveling to us and back again). ![]()
